Dan, what you listed as curio cabinet is a typecase drawer when printing was done by letterpress method. Each drawer contained letters of the alphabet that were made of zinc, set on a Linotype machine and pressed out. The different sizes of the partitions were to hold different sizes of letters. They were then hand set onto a press, inked and pressed onto paper. Te cases are much valued by people who know printing and the value of the history of the cases. good luck in your endeavers! pnytm1@charter.net
